Like many other caravanners, we would often hit the road with no real plans, no bookings – if we loved a town or needed to stop, we would pull up and always find somewhere to stay…
This is one of the things we LOVE about caravanning – the freedom! We have our home on the back and the wind in our hair…
2021 will be very different…
Travelling in COVID Normal (…whatever that means!?) has resulted in thousands more caravanners on the road – YES – thousands more. With overseas travel still on the back burner, many families are now exploring their own backyard…
This is wonderful for our industry, but it also means that many popular destinations and caravan parks are urging everyone to BOOK AHEAD! Especially if you are planning your adventure in peak season…
Where are you heading this year? Have you booked?
It’s been a long time since we have booked in advance, but as we put together our 2021 Cape Adventure, turns out we would be crazy not too…(some of our stops have been booked 6 months in advance and the parks are already FULL!!)
[ To Book or Not to Book UPDATE 16.02.2021 ] Message just sent in:….”If you’re from the eastern states of Australia…just trying to be helpful you should stay out of Western Australia.The last few days I have been trying to book caravan parks up north and finding most of them are booked up from now till September. For example there is 150 caravans waiting to get into Exmouth!…”
Also….please remember – with many more caravanners on the road, SAFETY always first, be kind to each other and take it easy, your destination is not going anywhere…
