When we did our caravan adventure of Tasmania, one of our FAVOURITE experiences was at the Tahune Adventures Tasmania. Just outside Geeveston, this adventure playground was filled with so many wonderful activities for everyone.
Our girls loved the swinging bridges and the Tahune Airwalk was breath-taking!

The wait is finally over and everything at Tahune Adventures is open again 7 day a week, 10am to 4pm. The breathtaking Tahune Airwalk is an elevated 600 metres walkway above the forest floor, with the final spectacular cantilever section sitting at a height of 50 metres above the Huon River, an easy 90 minute drive from Hobart.
The Swinging Bridges and Huon Pine Walks have only just reopen and the stunning Huon Pine Walk is wheelchair and stroller friendly. Why not book the Twin River rafting adventure on the Picton River and discover special locations like ‘The Gorge’ as you splash and drift along on this gentle rafting experience.
How about a quick adrenalin rush, you can soar like an eagle from high in the treetops and feel the wind beneath your wings as you dip and swoop on a return glide on the Eagle Hang Gliding zip line. Take a break from the forest activities and relax in the Cafe and Visitor Centre, enjoy local produce, wines, ciders and hot chocolates by the wood fire.
Did you know you can stay on-site at Tahune in the Lodge or Cabin accommodation deep in the serene Southwest forest, and there are spots to park your RV & caravan are also available at $10 per night with Airwalk tickets.
