Apex Riverbeach Holiday Park Mildura

Rolling into Mildura was very exciting for us as it was our first stop on our 4 week Red Centre adventure. A perfect way to start our journey at a park that was just outside town, on the banks of the great Murray river and so peaceful.

Surrounded by enormous trees and riverbanks this was a park that we instantly knew we would return to one day. We love a canopy of trees and plenty of shade. Large sites and a mix of options for all types of travellers.

The facilities were all clean and the gardens neat. The girls were out of the car and straight to the playground which was a good size and loads of fun…then, they were off to the huge jumping pillow. Apex Riverbeach Holiday park has pockets of peace and bush tranquillity which was refreshing. A park that was not only peaceful and rustic but had the small family touches that the kids loved.

Family Parks are very proud to be mostly pet friendly and the other travellers that we met at happy hour were all people who love the park and were repeat stayers. Enjoying the pet friendly facilities and open spaces for their loved pets. This park even has a couple of pet friendly cabins, which is something we had not seen before…

Another winning point: open fire! Yes, we had an amazing big open fire in the BBQ area for our dinner and many campers had a barrel fire outside their campsite. Just perfect for a cool winter’s night.

Only 5 minutes from Mildura CBD, we loved our time at Apex Riverbeach Tourist Park and can’t wait to go back for a longer stay. Definitely a park that would be awesome all year round..

Next stop on this adventure was The Devils Marbles…
